I ntroduction  Ginger is a spice originated from the rhizomes of the plant  Zingiber officinale . It is commonly used in cooking in many Asian, Ayurvedic, and middle eastern cuisines.  Ginger is a relative of  curcumin .  It is most commonly used to treat gastrointestinal issues and is a great food to eat when following the  lectin avoidance diet . Ginger may also be  used as a pain-reliever  and  may be  used as a treatment for degenerative health disorders . 1) Ginger is an Anti-Inflammatory 1-Dehydro-(10)-gingerdione, an active ingredient in ginger, can regulate inflammatory genes by inhibiting NF-κB pathway [ R ]. Yesterday I had to visit somewhere and it was raining so I did not want to drive there since I was not too familiar with the road, so I parked my car somewhere close and used a keke (local tricycle). While I was there I got a call from a long time friend reminding me of my promise to her husband over a job, so I quickly told her my location, and asked her to tell her husband to meet me up ASAP since I will be leaving town soon, but I told her to tell her husband to meet me up where I packed my car since that place was a popular land mark . As I sent her the address, she called me back and was so excited that I was even around her area which will make it easy for him because he did not even have transport to come out,things was that bad. Some time ago, a couple invited a particular pastor to their home to have a dinner. After the pastor left the wife said to  the husband "I think the pastor stole our spoon!" This bothered the woman for a whole year. Meanwhile,  a year later the couple invited the pastor again for dinner. Unable to resist, the wife summoned the courage and asked "Pastor did you steal our spoon last year?" Surprised and somewhat uncomfortable, the pastor replied "No, I kept it inside your Bible" So for a whole year, the family did not open their Bible to read nor to find the lost spoon. By  David Closson During the course of a presidential campaign, it is common to hear evangelicals, especially younger ones, quip, “I’m just not that interested in politics,” or, “Politics just aren’t my thing.” These dismissive remarks are often delivered with a veneer of piousness implying that political engagement is inherently defiled, occupying an arena unfit for those serious about the gospel. For those inundated with television ads, robo-calls, campaign mail and the overall negative tone of politics, this might be a tempting position to adopt. However, it is not a position Bible-believing, gospel-loving Christians can or should accept as congruent with Scripture.
